Our Point of View
ADHD in our view, is about the brain’s INABILITY to stay focused and be consistent, when attempting to pay attention. Poor focus is accompanied by a distractingly busy mind state. The busy aspect or anxiety is reflecting the brain’s concern over unstable availability of mental energy. Unstable mental energy can also be understood as mental fatigue brought on by the brain’s poor sleep performance. The hyperactivity component is about body tension that builds when the brain has been under stress for extended periods of time. Physical movement is used to drain the built - up tension in the body and to increase mental alertness.
